Much inspiration came from our family’s Norwegian matriarch, whose unique, light, fat-free, fruit-layered sponges proved a huge success at her “Potting Shed” in the Highlands of Scotland.

There may well have been lots of freshly whipped cream involved!

At Emmeline’s, we maintain her ethos of serving only freshly made products of the best quality, carefully created on the premises.

Here, you may enjoy an interesting selection of genuinely homemade toasties, sandwiches, soups, filled baked potatoes and, of course, wonderful cakes.

Hot beverages include Lavazza coffee, a varied selection of teas and superb hot chocolates. Our eggs are from a local supplier, delicious bread comes hot from St Mary’s Bakery in Brecon.

Our menu does include a selection of gluten-free items.

Whole cakes, as offered in our tearoom, may be made to order. For busy folk ‘on the move’ takeaway snacks and drinks are available.
